Maxie McCoy is the confidence queen. I previously shared part of my interview with Maxie, but I felt like this question deserved a post of its own. I asked Maxie to share a few small steps women can take every day to build their confidence. Her ideas were pretty insightful.
Be intentional with your morning. One of my favorite confidence building tools is Shine Text – a daily morning text to help you slay the day – created by one of my goddesses Naomi Hirabayashi.
Quit social when you’re in the dumps. Seriously. Nothing is worse than seeing everyone’s highlights when you’re feeling down. The first thing I do when I’m feeling a confidence lull is close out my apps for the day.
Surround yourself with energizers. This is my gang of goddesses. This is the people that believe in you when you don’t. This is anyone you can always count on to leave their presence better + more pumped about life than you did before seeing them.
Be mindful of those 6 inches. The ones from ear to ear. It’s where you create your reality or create your hell. In your mind. I’m always repeating mantras in my head for the different situations I need them. These are 7 of my faves. It’s life-changing.
