Unpopular opinion: I LOVE Black Friday. I even like that it starts on Thursday night. As someone who does Thanksgiving for lunch, I’ve always found the evening after Thanksgiving to be pretty dull. Now I get a few hours to digest my food before waiting in line to get myself some holiday goodies. It’s the perfect way to launch into the holiday season. I’m not here to debate its merits, but I am here to tell you some of the things you should be grabbing up this Black Friday!
Target Black Friday Finds
Target is my first stop on Black Friday. Opening at 5 PM, it’s the perfect place to begin my evening. I’m not one to be going for the doorbusters so I usually have a great time grabbing my haul. Here’s are some of the best deals at Target this year:
- Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 camera, $60 + a $15 gift card
- Assorted movies like Ocean’s 8, $4
- A New Day cardigans, $14
- Beauty and personal care gift sets, BOGO 50% off
- Throw blankets, $10
- Shark Robot Vacuum, $200 ($150 off)
- Keurig K-Mini single-serve coffee maker, $50
- Power AirFryer XL, $50
Stop two on my shopping train is Old Navy. Starting on Wednesday, Old Navy is offering 50% off your entire purchase! This deal does through Friday. The company doesn’t have any specific items on sale, just a general sale which I am excited to partake in. Plus, $1 cozy socks are hard to pass up!
Wal-Mart Black Friday Finds
I usually wait until actual Friday to visit Wal-Mart. The deals are usually so similar to Target that I’m not in a big rush to get to get there. That isn’t to say they don’t have some awesome deals you should be taking advantage of!
- RCA projector, $49
- Assorted movies, $2-6
- Tasty Cookware set + Google Home mini, $99
- Tasty Knife Set, $20
- Frigidaire 6‑Can Cooler Fridge, $20 (I have always wanted one of these)
- Fleece-lined leggings, $10
These are my top Black Friday stores, but certainly not my only. I will also be paying a visit to some premier shopping spots in Memphis like Saddle Creek, the Tanger Outlets, and local boutiques. My credit card may be a little sad on Friday, but my Christmas tree will be thrilled to have so many presents underneath it so soon. What are you planning to stock up on this weekend? Tell me on Instagram.
