As you may know, I have a long commute to work every day (45-ish minutes each way). I’ve been trying to make more out of my time commuting by listening to informational content. Currently, I am listening to an Italian lesson or two once a week. I’ve also been trucking through my 2019 reading list thanks to Audible. Lately, I’ve gotten into some great podcasts. They’re entertaining + inspiring which is really all I ask of them. I think these are amazing podcasts for millennial women.
Podcasts for Millennial Women
So these aren’t necessarily podcasts for millennial women only, but I get a lot out of them + I know most of you will, too!
You’re Welcome with Hilary Rushford – Hilary is a stylist, entrepreneur, and Instagram coach. In her recently launched podcast, she tackles issues that women face every day in all aspects of their life. Recent episodes include dealing with anxiety + dating in the 2010s. Trust me, you’re going to love her! Hilary has lived a fascinating life in New York working as everything from a temp to a Rockette. Her style is sophisticated + so unique. Not for nothing, I am lowkey obsessed with her elopement in the south of France.
RISE – It’s no surprise I love Rachel Hollis. On RISE, Rachel gives you practical tools + advice to help you run a business + better your life. Rachel is a New York Times Best Seller who is a champ at inspiring you to achieve your dreams + helping you create a road map. The podcast comes out every Tuesday + occasionally features inspirational guests. If you’re in a relationship, you may also want to check out her podcast with her husband Dave, RISE Together.
Goal Digger – If you dig RISE or Rachel Hollis, you’ll love Goal Digger – host, Jenna Kutcher a friend + fellow badass “boss babe”! If you run any kind of business or have a side hustle, you’ll want to listen to this. Jenna talks everything from SEO to therapy to how to create your own course. If you want to turn your passion into profits, she’s for you. Goal Digger should be on every podcast for millennial women list + you should be following her on gram because she provides great content there, too.
Asking For A Friend – I am pretty much obsessed with everything Lauren Conrad does, so her podcast is no different. In this podcast, Lauren answers questions we may be afraid to ask. There have only been three episodes sometimes, but I have loved them all. One thing I love is that she has experts every week so you don’t just have to take her word for it. Don’t let her Laguna Beach past fool you, Lauren is the Martha Stewart of our generation.
P.S. I Love This Podcast – I’ve mentioned this podcast before, but it’s because it is awesome + very on brand. I know one of the host, Dana from college + have always admired her. Both she + her co-host, Sarah are passionate about something I to love, rom-coms. This podcast is all about classic, cult, and current romantic comedies, even including rom-com TV shows like the Bachelor (which I hate but it’s okay if you don’t). They’re already on season two so you have plenty of content to consume.
If you’re a 20-something woman (or even 30-something) I think you’ll love listening to any of these. If you’re looking for podcasts for millennial women look more further. If you’re looking for a podcast for a guy – a sports guy at least – allow me to shameless plug my boyfriend’s podcast, SEC Slow Smoked.
